Numerical Investigation of Steel‐LVL Timber Composite Beams

چکیده

In the last years, new connectors of steel-concrete composite flooring systems have been developed and investigated to enhance circularity standardisation building components. Recent studies showed that timber can be used as an alternative concrete slab in hybrid structures. However, knowledge steel-timber is still very limited. This contribution presents numerical investigations steel-LVL beams. The load deformation behaviour was determined through 3D finite element models. design resistance beams estimated analytically a strain-controlled approach. results this study show resistances obtained models approach are good agreement. Moreover, deflections slip values were given at ultimate load.
